“A family were shocked to find their lost cat turned up on their doorstep after hiding out in a pasty factory for THREE YEARS. Woosie surprised owners Helen and Phillip Johns when he turned up at their home in St Austell, Cornwall, having piled on the pounds.
It is believed that the hungry feline survived on a diet of Ginsters pasties, mainly judging by his large size. The black Tomcat, who earned his name because of his fear of loud noises, disappeared one morning without warning.
They had grown used to life without the cat but on Tuesday last week he was picked up by a vet and he was considerably larger in size. It is thought the adventurous feline may have been sampling the finest in Cornish cuisine by living around the Ginsters factory 30 miles away.”
